First post about Minecraft Bingo! Today, Kurt's on his own testing out the new version made by longtime colleague, Dr. Brian Lorgon111. Minecraft Bingo is a competitive challenge where you try to get items on your bingo card before your opponents and Kurt treats today as a solo speed challenge.
Upon starting we meet a regular bunny for the first time in Minecraft. Not sure about the origin of the ones on the Mindcrack server. Kurt quickly gets to resource gathering and making stuff to fill on his bingo card. He makes a bottle and a sign handily enough and decides on the next one.
He hurriedly drops in on a couple of skeletons in a cave to defeat them and get their bones. Remember the early days of Combat Canyon when Kurt was scared of the skeletons? How far he has come!
He defeats more enemies and gathers more resources. He cooks some iron to make a bucket and digs some gravel to get flint.
He sprints into the night in search of a cow and maybe other things like spiders. He passes by a temple, a desert bunny and a witch. In the forest he hunts some wabbits in order to find some leather. Some slimes appear and he crosses the slimeball off his card.
On a hillside he defeats a creeper to get its gunpowder and crafts a railway track. He continues to search for cows because he also needs milk!
From the safety of under a tree he attacks an enderman but also has to deal with a skeleton at the same time. They don't call him Iron Kurtain for nothing now...
At one point a ninja creeper takes him by surprise. He pulls through though.
He decides to go back to the temple in order to explore it. Upon entering he has skeletons and a creeper to deal with. He finds a some iron and a diamond. More stuff crossed off the card!
Heading out and grabbing a cactus he realises he only needs to make a compass in order to complete a diagonal line and makes a mad dash for some redstone. He eventually finds some in a zombie spawner's chest and makes his compass!
Success and fireworks! His time is 23 minutes and 26 seconds. This is a blind speed challenge that other people participate in as well. I wonder how he ranked?
