Gravity Ghost 08

Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZT609FaqFA

Kurt continues with the colour fox puzzles.

He gets through it all and a lot more exposition happens.

Quite a moving and dramatic story. The credits then roll. Notch appears in them.

It's not the type of game Kurt usually plays but it's still nice to join him while he does.

Gravity Ghost 07

Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FhoD7ukrAWw

We join Kurt for the fox constellation. Here we see terrestrial things like a windmill, a hammer, trees, mushrooms, a lighthouse etc.

There's one little tricky moment where he has to line up the star with the telescope's line of sight.

Some drama plays out between the sisters. The game does that, fluctuates between serious drama and telling bad jokes. Still fun though :)

Kurt has a little trouble trying to catch a moose but pulls it off. The fox guardian is a challenging puzzle.

Gravity Ghost 06

Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ryuKm3kS2xk

Kurt smoothly welcomes us with a close-to-the-mic voice :)

He goes into the Wolf constellation. He comes across these planets that seem like solid diamond.

He meets the wolf guardian and they have a nice chat for a while. There's a couple of fragmented cutscenes here too, revealing a tiny bit more of the plot.

Gravity Ghost 05

In this next area, Kurt comes across a planet that pushes you away rather than pull you.

Later on, Kurt meets a philosophical rabbit who explains a few things. Just a few though! Can't reveal everything! :)

Later on there's also more cut scene exposition.

Gravity Ghost 04

Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dv8XubvBm0M

Kurt goes into the next area. In this place there are these wagon wheels you can make spin. They sound like bicycle wheels when you do. They also generate fields of energy and reveal flowers and stuff.

Some more cool stuff here like time based mechanics.

Kurt finds a bear here. He also gets the air jump, which allows him to jump as many times as he likes in the air. This'll come in very handy!

After reuniting the bear with its skeleton, he goes after the bird to do the same.

There's one tricky section with no music that you have to adjust like a clock to read the message. The message says something about 12. After doing this puzzle, Kurt meets the Owl Guardian and gets the special item from it.

Gravity Ghost 03

Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6l2X3r2-gM

More Gravity Ghosting with Kurt! In this episode he goes into the deer galaxy. Things are icy in this area.

A wolf is found here and tags along for a while.

At the end there's a big deer that gives you its shiny thing.

Some nice cut scenes here with some emotional moments.

Gravity Ghost 02

Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONNn9_sNOsg

Kurt continues on to the Ocean of Storms. Here, there are planets that aren't platforms to step on. Instead, they're bodies of water to splash through.

There's a cutscene and a part where Kurt meets a mouse that sings! Pretty neat. You don't really know what to expect from this game.

Gravity Ghost 01

Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aL68yV397Pw

Kurt returns to Gravity Ghost! He gives us a good introduction to this updated version of the game.

There's one level that's set up like bowling pins and Kurt talks about the time he went bowling recently. Not to worry Kurt, I barely make 100 either!

There's another level that reminds him of pinball and another that's just like those ball bearing mazes. it's not all art, it's pretty video gamey as well.

At the end of the episode he completes the constellation and shows us a glimpse of the rest of the constellations on offer in the game. He also holds a little competition for viewers to win his extra download code of the game. What a nice thing :)
