Kurt considers following the road. It's fallen to neglect and has lots of mushrooms growing on it.
He mentions Fruit Loops. We don't have that cereal here but it sometimes appears in sweet shops or in limited editions. The colours look a bit too weird to be food.
Night falls and some tree noises cause him to try and calm himself down! The big worry is bears!
Angry elephants? They sounded like howling wolves!
He survives the night and continues exploring and finding more clues.
