In the middle of the night he makes the discovery of being able to attach the winch to a fallen tree. Sounds like a very good discovery for a new strategy.
Deep into the episode, Kurt is unhappy with the progress on his timber delivery but he urges himself (and us:) ) to keep on smiling!
